I supposed it depends on what country - I just called BMW for battery price and it was $560AUD. Comparative Century battery on special at an auto store for $360AUD. I'll take the risk that it is not OEM.

I always buy runflat tyres, they are fabulous, My BMW tells me I have a pressure problem, and I can drive 50 miles at 50mph to get to a tyre shop. No need to do a wheel change at the roadside.

Never ever ever add oil additive. You are wrong! Read the owner's manual. All you did was dilute the oil and reduce it's effectiveness. You destroyed this man's car. You should not be working on cars if you don't know what you're doing.

Completely disagree on subtilty! Cars mostly suck stock unless they are exceptional sports cars or a $100k + luxury vehicle... The point of mods are to match and then surpass the aestgetics and functionality of oem designs!😢

Install was easy, the actual issue for me was that re-installing the existing cover for the door handle won't sit flush with the new interior Kies part. Any insight on how to get flush fitment?

You need to add a dab of RTV where the timing cover meets the cylinder head. It’s a slight line but oil can leak out.

I have owned many cars over the years and most are reliable. BMW's are just more costly to maintain. I have owned 1997 BMW 318I, no issues. 2007 BMW X3, sunroof issue warranty fixed. 2017 X1. 2015 328I, 1999 BMW M3 no issues.
